Beltain at WeSEE Trees Community Tree Nursery
A collaborative community gathering to notice what makes us feel alive.
📍 WeSEE Trees, Maltlands, Weston-Super-Mare BS22 8NZ
📅 Sunday, 3rd May
⏰ 4pm start
💰 Free to attend, but you must RSVP here.
👥 Open to all adults interested in reflection, connection, and community
About the Gathering
Where Imbolc is inward and reflective, Beltain is embodied, relational, playful, fertile and connective. It’s about aliveness, sensuality, creativity and the spark between people. What makes us feel alive? Or, are there areas in our lives where we’re just existing? We will explore what it is, in our mortal lives, that brings the spark of life back into our bodies as we bring life to the WeSEE Trees Community Tree Nursery. Join us for a paint party (read about it here), picnic and an evening around the fire sharing stories, poems and readings on the theme of aliveness.
In the spirit of the festival the theme for the meal is: bring something that feels indulgent, joyful, or celebratory to share.
No requirement to participate, listening and offering your presence is enough.
What to Expect
Simple opening welcome ritual to set the tone and theme
Seasonal reflections
Informal community connection
Shared vegetarian/vegan meal
A fire, if the weather permits
Poetry, stories or readings shared voluntarily
Paint party to paint flowers on the shipping container onsite
You are welcome to participate as much or as little as feels right.
