    What is a Death Doula?

    Death Doulas, also sometimes referred to as End of Life Doulas, offer a wide range of guidance and support to anyone wanting to plan ahead or for people who have been diagnosed with a terminal illness and their loved ones. From guiding people through advance care planning to providing practical, emotional and spiritual support at the end of a person’s life.

    Death Cafes take place in towns and cities around the world, providing a cosy place to eat cake and discuss death. These community-led events allow us to explore our beliefs, fears and perspectives around death, dying and grief.

    A UK-based, virtual peer space for people who live and work close to death. A space for thoughtful conversation, resource sharing, collective reflection and connection with others who recognise the realities of engaging with death in their lives and work. A place where insight can be shared, ideas explored and experiences witnessed without pressure to solve or carry responsibility for one another; but a place where the weight does not have to be carried alone.
